EquiAirbag Protector Module for Flexi Safety Vests

The Equiairbag protector by USG is a module especially for retrofitting the Flexi USG safety vests, Level 3. The airbag is ideal for competitions, leisure riding or training, as it provides effective protection for the entire spine when being filled. It prevents the head from dangerously bouncing back in the case of a fall, without pushing the head forward. It can be quickly and easily pulled over the back of a Flexi USG safety vest. The EquiAirbag guarantees a high level of wearing comfort, optimum freedom of movement and also allows a roll off during a fall. The EquiAirbag is activated by hooking the carabiner fastener onto the right front ring of the saddle directly after getting on the horses back. If a fall occurs, the flexible spiral cable triggers the integrated airbag purely mechanically. The airbag will inflate within 80/85 milliseconds. The rider is not directly connected to the horse, so that in the case of a fall the release cable detaches from the airbag. Riding on, getting on and off the horse is still possible after the airbag has been activated. The EquiAirbag can be easily recharged after activation if there is no damage simply by replacing the cartridge. When activated, the EquiAirbag is certified and tested according to the airbag standard EN 1621-4. In addition, all Flexi safety vests with combined EquiAirbag module are certified to EN 13158-2018 / BETA Standard Level 3 and EN 1621-4, ensuring safe upper body protection while riding.

Note: The EquiAirbag may only be used in conjunction with Flexi safety waistcoats from USG - safety waistcoat is not included. A disconnection of the cable by higher force activates the built-in bolt and thus the airbag. Always read the instructions for use before use.
