Due to its anatomically cut shape, this denture lies evenly on the tongue as well as on the drawer, thus distributing the pressure optimally. The D-ring gives the bit a particularly quiet position in the mouth and prevents it from slipping through the horse's mouth. In addition, the shape of the rings at the end of the bar provides a lateral limit or lateral hold, which is particularly beneficial for young and inexperienced horses.
