Product description

Trust Sweet Iron Loose Ring Bit Waterford

The Waterford loose ring bradoon is made by Trust and has a special mouthpiece, as it consists of individual rounded links. It is a flexible mouthpiece which forms towards the mouth and creates an even pressure. As the bit can move freely in all directions, it is almost impossible for the horse to lie down on the mouthpiece. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders as it has a particularly sharp effect with a strong hand. The side piece of this model consists of loose rings, which creates even more movement. In addition, the rings on this model are smaller than on a normal loose ring bit. To stimulate saliva production and increase acceptance, there is a so-called Sweet Iron alloy. This alloy forms surface rust on contact with moisture, which tastes sweet to most horses.

Note: When not in use, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece. This can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
