Elyte C + E is the ideal supplemental feed to incorporate electrolyte salts, vitamin C and vitamin E into the horse's diet.

Elyte C+E is the supplementary feedstuff consisting of a mixture of completely water-soluble electrolyte salts supplemented with vitamin C and vitamin E and formulated according to the latest guidelines of the American N.R.C. system. As the horse sweats hypertonically, i.e. with a salt concentration much higher than that of the blood, very heavy perspiration causes enormous losses of sodium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium and calcium, which therefore have to be replenished very quickly to prevent fatigue and muscle cramps. This is precisely the goal of Elyte C+E, whose formulation also covers the daily requirement of vitamin E and vitamin C, providing 540 mg and 1150 mg per dose and day, respectively. Elyte C + E is useful: supplying horses with electrolyte salts during the summer To compensate for salt losses due to heavy sweating during periods of intense exertion.

Feeding recommendation

• for normal requirements: 60 g per day
• For longer efforts, competition activities and especially in hot seasons: 100 g per day

It is recommended that supplementary feed be fed for at least 30 consecutive days. The powder can be added to the daily feed ration.

As each horse's body has its own particularities, it is recommended to gradually introduce feed and supplementary feed into the horse's diet and to test its tolerance.
