Navalis Supplementary Feed Orthosal Iodine Horse

• supplementary feed for horses in powder form
• sufficient for a feeding period of approx. 50 days for a horse with a body weight of 600 kg
• organic micronutrient product to compensate for an iodine deficiency
• contains a high proportion of natural iodine from bladderwrack
• iodine is an essential building block of thyroid hormones, which influence a wide range of bodily functions from body temperature to cardiac activity, digestion, performance and the immune system

• impaired production of thyroid hormones can result in performance depression, lethargy and coat problems (in advanced stages also goitre formation)

Composition

• brewer's yeast, carrots, toasted soya beans, linseed, bladderwrack, aniseed, vegetable oil (linseed, cold-pressed), caraway seeds

• 23.2 % crude protein, 13.7 % crude fat, 6.5 % crude fibre, 5.4 % crude ash, 0.18 % sodium

Nutritional additives/ kg

• 40 mg 3b202 iodine (calcium iodate, anhydrous)

Feeding recommendation

• 2 to a maximum of 4 measuring spoons daily (equivalent to 20 - maximum 40 g) for a horse with 600 kg body weight
• if other trace elements are fed in high doses at the same time, it is recommended that navalis orthosal iodine be distributed throughout the day (e.g. 1 measuring spoon in the morning, 1 measuring spoon in the evening)
• store in a cool and dry place
