Stübben Steeltec Baucher Bit Fine Line
The Baucher Bit Fine Line by Stübben Steeltec is made of stainless steel, which promises a long life. The special feature of this snaffle is the oval tongue clearance, which is ideal for horses with flat palates and thick tongues. Baucher bits differ from classic water snaffles in that they are firmly buckled to the bridle. This has the advantage that this bit lies much more quietly in the mouth. The bit unfolds its effect in the direction of the angle of the mouth, thus the uprightness is strengthened. A Baucher snaffle does not sag downward and can only be pushed minimally in the direction of the stallion and incisors. When the reins are tightened, the strap, to which the bit is attached, turns off to the outside. Thus, no leverage is created. However, since the bit has a sharp action in itself, it should only be used by experienced riders.
