Trust Sweet Iron D-RIng Bit Locked
The Sweet Iron D-Ring Bit Locked is made by Trust and is handcrafted from the highest quality materials. The blue colour on the bit is a special alloy which forms surface rust in contact with moisture. This rust tastes sweet to horses and in addition, saliva production is stimulated in a natural way, so that the horse is more likely to chew. The mouthpiece is simply broken and locks when pressure is applied to the reins, so that it becomes a bar. When the pressure is released, the bit changes back to a single-break mouthpiece. Thanks to these characteristics, this bit is ideal for horses that go against the hand. However, this bit should only be used in a fine, experienced rider's hand as it can have a very strong impact.
Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
