Product description

Trust Full Cheek Bit Waterford

The Waterford full cheek snaffle by Trust has thighs with a length of 6,0 cm. This puts more pressure on the cheeks and makes it easier for the horse to turn. In addition, the bit cannot be pulled through the mouth. The rings to which the reins are attached are not movable. This bit is incredibly quiet and stable in the horse's mouth, making it ideal for horses that have problems with stance and bend. The legs are slightly bent outwards, so they do not come into contact with the side of the horse's head. To avoid injury, make sure the bit is placed in the mouth with the bars facing outward. The Waterford mouthpiece consists of individual, movable links with a recognizable blue color. This is a special alloy which oxidizes in contact with moisture and forms surface rust. This tastes sweet to horses and naturally stimulates saliva production. Thanks to the individual links, it is almost impossible for the horse to lie down on the bit.

Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
