Trust Sweet Iron Curbgag Eliptical
- combination of pelham and loose ring gag
- side piece consists of loose rings with eyelets through which the curb strap runs
- can be used with one or two reins, usually 2 reins are used
- pressure is applied to the neck and the corners of the mouth
- promotes the uprightness of the horse
- double broken mouthpiece
- with special Sweet Iron alloy, which forms surface rust on contact with moisture
- surface rust tastes sweet to horses and naturally stimulates chewing activity
- normal cheek piece of the bridle is replaced by gag ropes
Note: When not in use, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
