Beris Pelham Swales with tongue bow bar
The "Swales" by Beris is very similar to the Pelham in its function, but is used with a second rein and a chin chain pad. The bit is delivered with a 5cm or 7cm long underlay, depending on your choice. The special feature here is the 30mm high, flattened tongue arch, which gives the tongue enormous freedom of movement and distributes the pressure evenly over the drawers and tongue. This bit is therefore particularly suitable for very hot or very strong horses, as the tongue arch exerts strong pressure at points in combination with the leverage effect. The length of the mouthpiece is reduced due to the inner ring and the bit discs, which effectively prevent the lips from being pinched, so that the bit should definitely be ordered 1 cm longer.
