Fetlock boots with a protective element on the inside and outside of the fetlock joint (so-called double-walled tendon boots) that wrap around the back of the fetlock joint are permitted, provided that they meet certain criteria

- machine washable at 30 °C
- do not use fabric softener or bleach
- low spin cycle
- do not tumble dry
