These provisions apply to:
- FEI jumping competitions for young horses (5-, 6-, 7- and 8-year-old horses)
- also permitted in other classes as an alternative to fetlock boots with a simple elastic fastening or double-walled fetlock boots
- the fetlock boots described in this section may be used in all competitions without restriction
