Gustav Optenplatz Premium Hoof Balm – green

The Premium Hoof Balm by Gustav Optenplatz has an improved recipe which makes the hoof balm more fluid due to the hoof's own heat. This allows the active ingredients of the balm to penetrate deep into the capillaries. Conventional hoofs close the capillaries, which prevents them from drawing in. Due to this specialty, the hoof balm provides the hoof with sufficient nutritional substances and regenerates brittle horn. It also strengthens the hoof's resistance and protects the hoof from moisture, aggressive manure and diseases. In addition, the hoof is given a long-lasting shine. The recipe is based on vegetable raw materials.

Instructions for use

  • Clean the hoof sole, frog and horn capsule with a brush
  • Apply hoof balm to the hoof sole and frog with a brush
  • Also coat the horn capsule with hoof balm, leaving out the crown rim
  • For daily use as needed
