Unika Elytes electrolytes, supplementary feed

The horses' sweat is hypertonic, which means that its salt concentration is much higher than that of the blood. Therefore, heavy sweating leads to an enormous loss of sodium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium and calcium, which must be quickly restored to prevent listlessness and muscle cramps. Elytes can be useful: To supply horses with electrolyte salts in summer. To compensate for salt losses due to heavy sweating during periods of intense exertion.

Feeding recommendation

• for normal requirements: 60 g per day
• For longer efforts, competition activities and especially in hot seasons: 100 g per day

It is recommended that supplementary feed be fed for at least 30 consecutive days. The powder can be added to the daily feed ration.

As each horse's body has its own particularities, it is recommended to gradually introduce feed and supplementary feed into the horse's diet and to test its tolerance.
