HS Sprenger curb bit with slight tongue clearance
This curb bit comes with a straight mouthpiece and a low tongue clearance. This prevents contact with the sensitive palate, which makes this curb bit ideal for horses with a flat palatal arch. Due to the even contact surface, the pressure is excellently distributed over the entire width of the tongue, which contributes to the well-being of the horse. You can choose between a 5cm long or 7cm long beam, which can either increase (7cm) or decrease (5cm) the pressure on the neck. It should be noted, however, that the lever is significantly shorter with 5cm long suits than with 7cm long suits and the aids therefore work faster. In both cases the use of the aids requires an experienced and sensitive rider's hand. It is important to note that the curb bit is lower than the underlay bridle. Since the mouth becomes narrower towards the front, the curb bit should be ordered 0.5 - 1cm shorter.
