HS Sprenger olive head unjointed bit
The olive head bit from Sprenger comes with a hard carbon bar and stainless steel sides. Here, the rigid, straight bar exerts equal pressure on the entire lower jaw. The tongue, as well as the charges bear proportionally equal pressure, which is why the bit can provide increased control. The laterally attached, firmly fixed "olives" effectively prevent the lips from being pinched and also provide good lateral leaning. The bit is primarily intended for rider horse pairs who need increased control in the course or for horses that like to escape the aids of the rider. Please buckle all bits marked with an arrow so that the arrow on the left hand points forward.
