The pad is only 1.5 cm thick and is an innovative pad developed using a specially patented technology. The inner lining is made of flexible polymer, which contains molecules that, when a concentrated point of pressure is created, push together and thus dampen the resulting pressure. When the pressure subsides, the molecules redistribute throughout the pad, providing a regular distribution of pressure across the horse's back. Due to the low thickness of the Invictus Pad, it neither affects the regular fit of the saddle nor interferes with the communication between rider and horse. The functional top of the pad eliminates saddle slippage and the highly breathable bottom prevents heat buildup.
