Horses' hooves are an important part of the body, but also extremely sensitive. Depending on how the animal is kept, the weather conditions and the amount of movement, the hooves are more or less stressed. Dry hooves, cracks and thrush are not uncommon problems that horse owners have to deal with. So hoof care should always be a high priority and should not be underestimated. Keralit would like to offer the best possible support in this regard and has therefore developed a hoof care series that protects against the most common hoof diseases and combats them respectively.

In the manufacture of the products, Keralit uses plant-based active ingredients such as sesame, laurel, jojoba and avocado oil. These substances have moisture-binding and water-soluble properties, which have the advantage that they are deeply absorbed into the horn. The herbal spice turmeric, tannins such as tannin from oak bark, and various minerals are also included in the care products.

In addition to hoof care, Keralit also offers high-quality products for skin care and wound care. The substances contained, such as zinc oxide, St. John's wort and dexpanthenol, have a particularly supportive effect on mallenders, as the crusts formed are quickly and gently dissolved with regular use. But also with generally sensitive and brittle skin, the ointments and shampoo of Keralit show high effectiveness.
