Trust Sweet Iron 2,5-Ring Olive Head Bit with Brass Rings

The Trust 2,5-ring olive head bit is handmade and convinces with different application possibilities. This side piece can be used to create a leverage effect, i.e. the lower the rein is attached, the sharper the bit becomes. For the cheek piece there is an attached, small ring and the rein can be attached either to the olive head ring or to the smaller integrated ring. In addition, the side piece cannot move freely, so that the reins have a more direct effect. The mouthpiece is double-broken and has loose brass rings in the middle, which encourage the horse to play with the bit. This increases the tongue activity and the jaws relax more. In addition, the Sweet Iron alloy stimulates saliva production and increases the acceptance of the bit, as it oxidises on contact with moisture and forms sweet-tasting rust for horses. A 2,5-ring olive head bit is ideal for horses that become very strong in the course and go against the hand.

Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece. This can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
