Eggersmann milk thistle oil
Milk thistle oil has many advantages that have been known for a long time. In horse feeding, vegetable oils are mainly used for energy enrichment, dust binding of the feed, for a shiny coat or for therapeutic purposes. The thistle contains an oil in its seed that has the highest content of essential, polyunsaturated fatty acids of all oil plants. These draw less oxygen from the blood than saturated fatty acids and fill up empty glycogen stores better than other energy sources. As a very mobile and quickly available energy source, they have a positive influence on growth and fertility and strengthen the immune system.
